          Our Core Pillars

Champions on the Court: Free Volleyball Clinics

Sports teach more than just skills; they build confidence, discipline, and community.

  • The Gap: Elite athletic training is often locked behind high "pay-to-play" fees.

  • Our Solution: We provide high-level, free volleyball clinics for under-resourced youth. We bring the coaching, the equipment, and the court time—all they need to bring is their indomitable spirit.

            Compassion at the Door: Community

The Team

Founder, President

Patrick Su

I founded Rise to Serve, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, because I’ve always believed that our most impactful work happens at the intersection of our passions. As a competitive travel volleyball player, an award-winning Carnegie Hall solo percussionist, and an app developer, I’ve seen firsthand the immense discipline and creativity my peers possess; yet, I’ve also noticed how rarely those talents are harnessed to solve real-world problems.

Whether I’m coaching a free clinic, performing in benefit concerts to support global causes, building VolleyMind, a mental performance app designed to help student-athletes build resilience and focus, from scratch to a successful launch on the iOS App Store, or fundraising for global humanitarian causes through the design of awareness stickers, I am dedicated to showing that we don't have to wait for adulthood to make a difference. Today, I combine my passions for leadership, technological innovation, and humanitarian service to lead Rise to Serve to greater heights, proving that we have the tools, the talent, and the responsibility to serve right now.
